Job summary

Fifth Avenue Restaurant Group in Las Vegas is seeking a Prep Cook to support kitchen operations in a fast-paced quick-service environment. You will chop, portion, label ingredients and assist cooks with station setup, while upholding food safety and cleanliness standards.

Applicants should be reliable, detail-oriented and able to work evenings or weekends as needed; prior kitchen experience is helpful but not required, and successful candidates will receive benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Basic English comprehension to follow prep lists.
• Knowledge of food safety practices (or willingness to learn).
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and organization.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality.
• Previous kitchen or prep experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare ingredients including chopping, slicing, portioning, and labeling.
• Maintain proper food storage, labeling, and FIFO procedures.
• Assist cooks with station setup and prep.
• Keep prep areas clean, sanitized, and organized.
• Follow sanitation and safety standards.
