Katsuya, part of the sbe lifestyle hospitality brand, is seeking a Prep Cook to support high-volume service. You will prepare ingredients, cook and assemble dishes following recipes, and ensure garnishes meet presentation standards while maintaining a clean, organized workstation.

Ideal candidates bring at least two years in a high-end dining setting, are at least 18, can stand for long shifts, and work well under pressure. This role emphasizes health and safety compliance and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year of experience in a contemporary dining restaurant.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Ability to stand for an 8-hour shift and work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsabilités

• Prepare ingredients then cook and assemble dishes as indicated by restaurant recipes.
• Perform portion control to minimize waste.
• Ensure all dishes are prepared within ticket time guidelines for customer satisfaction.
• Set up stations according to restaurant protocol.
• Restock items as needed throughout the shift.
• Maintain a clean work area for kitchen equipment, tables, and shelving.
• Ensure products are fresh and ingredients meet standards.
• Follow daily opening and closing duties set by Kitchen Manager.
• Perform additional tasks as assigned by Kitchen Manager.
• Be highly organized with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
