Job summary

Hard Rock Cafe Honolulu is seeking a Prep Cook for the Waikiki location. You will support kitchen operations, prepare menu items to spec, and help maintain a clean, organized work environment in a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities include labeling and refrigerating prep items, opening/closing duties, reading orders, and collaborating with Front-of-House staff to ensure guest satisfaction and safety standards are upheld.

Qualifications

• Experience in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
• Ability to read and interpret order tickets or kitchen displays.
• Must maintain cleanliness and follow safety & sanitation standards.

Responsibilities

• Make prep recipes and menu products to spec.
• Label, date, cover and refrigerate prepped items.
• Perform opening, closing & side duties – setting up, stocking, breaking down kitchen equipment and line stations.
• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen and line.
• Practice safety and sanitation standards.
• Read order tickets or Kitchen Display System.
• Assemble orders and check product quality and specs.
• Communicate professionally with co-workers and Front-of-the-House staff.
• Handle re-cook, special prep, long ticket, large party procedures.
