United Supermarkets, LLC is seeking a Prep Cook to help set the prepared foods department up for success. You will slice vegetables, prepare salads, and cut and grind meat, all while keeping a clean, safe workstation and assisting with inventory and ordering.

You will join a team dedicated to fast, friendly service and community presence, with opportunities to contribute to merchandising and daily department operations.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in customer service is preferred.
• Cooking and food preparation experience is valued.
• Ability to adapt to varying environments and tasks.

Responsibilities

• Slice and dice vegetables, compose salads and cold items.
• Cut and grind meat and other prep duties as assigned.
• Take inventory and place orders to keep kitchen stocked.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and neat work area at all times.
• Support merchandising and marketing strategies in the department.
