7 Cedars Resort is hiring Napoli's Prep Cook to support the cooks by preparing ingredients, assembling salads, dressings, and desserts, and aiding with catering orders according to the prep list. The role emphasizes cleanliness, safety, and timely food preparation in a busy resort kitchen.

The position requires experience in institutional food prep or equivalent, strong knife skills, and a team-oriented approach to maintain high quality and presentation for guests.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
• Three years’ experience in institutional food preparation preferred.
• Knowledge of food production and menu planning.
• Ability to memorize certain recipes to ensure consistency.
• Thorough knowledge of institutional kitchen equipment including broiler, sauté, fryer.

Responsibilities

• Chop, dice, and cut meats, cheeses, vegetables, and fruits for salads and sandwiches.
• Combine ingredients to create salads, dishes and desserts for service.
• Wash, peel, and cut foods for cooking or serving.
• Prepare dressings and cold sauces as needed.
• Maintain food rotation and temperatures; ensure quality and presentation.
