Job summary

Geronimo Hospitality Group is seeking a Prep Cook at Red Circle Inn to prepare food per recipes, maintain par levels, and ensure food safety. You will stock, label, and rotate perishables, and support the kitchen team in delivering a memorable guest experience.

This role requires 18+ years old, ability to work irregular hours including late nights, weekends, and holidays, and U.S. work authorization. ServSafe certification is preferred or obtained within 90 days.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a non-fast food restaurant or culinary school training.
• ServSafe Certification or willingness to obtain within 90 days.
• Must be able to perform basic arithmetic for recipes and quantities.
• Ability to work long hours including late nights, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Prepare all food items according to recipes using correct handling procedures.
• Maintain proper par levels of production according to prep sheets.
• Taste test and take temperatures following Serv Safe guidelines.
• Set up workstation and stock ingredients for shift readiness.
• Know menu ingredients and how to build each dish to order.
• Keep work area clean and sanitized after each shift.
