Job summary

Postino WineCafe is seeking a Prep Cook to join our kitchen team to perform routine food preparation, clean and sanitize equipment, and keep the kitchen organized under the guidance of cooks, chefs, or food service managers.

We value hospitality and teamwork; candidates should have at least 1 year of full-service kitchen experience, strong knife skills, and a passion for fresh ingredients. Internal candidates encouraged; state Food Handler Certification required.

Qualifications

• 1 year of full-service kitchen cook experience.
• State Food Handler’s Management Certification required.
• Associate’s degree preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare ingredients and recipes, clean and sanitize equipment.
• Organize the kitchen under the directions of cooks, chefs, or food service managers.
