DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  4. Exceed First Class Service standards and behavior with guests, business partners, and peers.
  5. Maintain a professional company image by adhering to all grooming and uniform guidelines, including slip-resistant shoes.
  6. Food preparation at 100% recipe adherence, following recipes and/or product directions for preparing, seasoning, cooking, tasting, carving, portioning, and serving food items.
  7. Follow production prep list and keep accurate records to requisition supplies and equipment as needed.
  8. Ability to use knives, slicers, and kitchen equipment efficiently and safely.
  9. Wash, slice, and peel items on prep list.
  10. Follow recipes.
  11. Store prepared food items safely and ensure they are properly date-labeled.
  12. Follow all brand standards related to food safety, sanitation, operational excellence, and guest satisfaction.
  13. Practice excellent food safety and sanitation; comply with all local, state, and federal laws and regulations related to food safety.
  14. Regularly restock all kitchen supplies and food items required for service.
  15. Assist with ordering and planning food supplies, as directed by the supervisor.
  16. Report equipment repair and maintenance needs to management.
  17. Monitor proper rotation and dating of prepped food and storage areas.
  18. Maintain a clean and organized work environment free of safety hazards.
  19. Work well in a fast-paced environment, with attention to detail and ability to multi-task.
  20. Perform other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, CERTIFICATIONS:
  • Minimum of 1 year of closely related cooking experience; experience in high-volume or fast casual dining preferred.
  • ServeSafe Certification or equivalent required by state.
  • Ability to work unsupervised for extended periods and demonstrate good judgment when dealing with guests.
  • High School Diploma or GED.
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Ability to work various shifts in a 7/365 team-oriented environment, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Excellent customer service skills and effective communication in English.
  • Self-starter capable of prioritizing and handling multiple tasks.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and unexpected situations.
  • Proficiency in reading, writing, and mathematics in English.
  • Ability to lift at least 50 lbs. and perform essential functions such as standing, bending, reaching, gripping, climbing ladders, and walking long distances.
  • Ability to stand for long periods and work in environments with varying conditions, including high heat, steam, and odors.
