Job summary

Sunny Street Cafe in Willow Park, TX is seeking a line/prep cook for a 3-4 hour morning shift starting around 6:30 am. You will contribute to our breakfast and lunch service, preparing ingredients and maintaining clean, organized stations.

We value teamwork, punctuality, and attention to detail. Weekend availability, basic kitchen safety and sanitation knowledge are required, with the potential for growth as we expand to two locations nearby.

Qualifications

• Prior kitchen experience preferred.

Job description

We are looking for a line/prep cook to fill a vacant spot in our kitchen staff and contribute to the overall excellence of our restaurant. This is a 3-4 hour per day shift. The shift starts at approximately 6:30 am and ends when all tasks are complete (around 3-4 hrs)

Requirements

• Previous experience is a plus.
• Must be available to work weekends.
• Must have basic knowledge of kitchen safety
• Must know and follow sanitation procedures.
• Must showcase teamwork and communication skills.
• Must showcase great organizational skills.
• Must be able to multitask and act quickly.

A good candidate for this job is a person with attention to detail who can keep their work area tidy and clean all while preparing ingredients for use in our menu items. We pride ourselves on our exceptional service, and we expect nothing less from our cooks. The advantage goes to candidates with a diploma from a culinary school.

We are a breakfast and lunch cafe open from 6:30 am to 2:15 pm, 7 days a week. We serve a traditional menu (eggs any style, omelettes, pancakes, salads, sandwiches, wraps, etc.) We have 2 locations, one in Willow Park (15 min west of Fort Worth) and one in Weatherford.
