CALA in Scottsdale, Arizona, is seeking a BOH Porter to maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen environment. The role supports all back-of-house positions by ensuring that workspaces and equipment are ready for service. Candidates should possess a strong work ethic, attention to cleanliness, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Prior BOH or porter/dish experience preferred but not required.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and work on your feet for extended periods.

Job Summary

BOH Porters are responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, organization, and overall flow of the kitchen. This role supports all BOH positions by ensuring workspaces, equipment, and storage areas are clean, stocked, and ready for service at all times.

Primary Focus

• Kitchen cleanliness, sanitation, and organization.
• Supporting cooks and chefs through efficient back-of-house operations.
• Ensuring health and safety standards are consistently met.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness of kitchen floors, walls, drains, and work surfaces.
• Wash and sanitize dishes, cookware, and kitchen equipment.

• Keep dish, prep, and storage areas organized and stocked.
