Job summary

Lola’s on the Water in Florida is seeking a reliable Prep Cook who takes pride in accuracy, organization, and fresh ingredients. You’ll help set the culinary team up for a successful service by ensuring everything is prepped, portioned, labeled, and ready when it’s needed.

Responsibilities include prepping ingredients, labeling and dating, storing properly, and preparing sauces, vegetables, proteins, and other components.

Qualifications

• Previous prep or kitchen experience required.
• Basic knife skills and familiarity with kitchen equipment.
• Attention to detail and the ability to follow recipes and portion standards.
• Good organization and time-management skills.
• Dependability and the ability to work independently while still being part of the team.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and safely lift and move kitchen supplies.

• Preparing ingredients according to recipes, prep lists, and production standards.
• Washing, cutting, portioning, labeling, dating, and properly storing food items.
• Preparing sauces, dressings, vegetables, proteins, and other menu components.
• Keeping prep areas clean, organized, and fully stocked.
