Apploi in Philadelphia, PA is hiring a Prep/Production Cook to prepare nutritious meals for daycare centers on a Monday-Friday schedule with no nights, weekends, or holidays.

You will weigh, portion, and package meals, monitor cooking, ensure HACCP and CACFP compliance, maintain a clean kitchen, and receive deliveries. This full-time role offers year-round employment and a stable daytime schedule.

Qualifications

• Previous food service, production kitchen, prep cook, or institutional cooking experience preferred.
• Knowledge of CACFP meal requirements is a plus.
• Strong understanding of food safety and sanitation practices.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Dependable, punctual, and organized.
• Ability to regularly lift and carry boxes and supplies.
• Must be able to pass a criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Performing other kitchen and food production duties as assigned.
