Job summary

Tier1usa in Orlando, FL is seeking a kitchen associate to prep food according to established recipes and procedures. You will wrap, date, and refrigerate products, ensuring quality and safety standards are met throughout the shift.

Responsibilities include interpreting specifications for taste, color, texture and eye appeal, and supporting cooks with recipe preparation. The role requires flexibility, basic tablet use, and knowledge of safe food handling practices.

Qualifications

  • Read, speak and write English.
  • Skilled in proper use of cutlery, kitchen equipment and machinery preferred.
  • Detail oriented with strong ability to multitask.
  • Knowledge in safe food handling practices as well as workstation sanitization.
  • Work flexible schedule subject to change based on business needs and bidding process.
  • Understand spec books/methods/recipes.
  • Knowledge in basic cuts, i.e. julienne, batonnet, chiffonade, brunoise, assorted slicing.
  • Able to operate basic functions on tablets.
