Job summary

Boqueria is seeking a Prep Cook in New York City to create delicious, high-quality meals and contribute to a positive work culture. You will work in a busy kitchen, execute dish prep, and support the team during service.

Ideal candidates have a strong passion for food, experience in fast-paced kitchens, and the ability to work autonomously while learning quickly. We offer competitive pay, flexible scheduling, and both full- and part-time opportunities.

Qualifications

• Strong passion for food and ability to work in a high-volume kitchen.
• Ability to execute dishes with culinary skill and attention to plating.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook menu items to spec and maintain quality.
• Keep station clean, organized and stocked for service.
• Assist with dish assembly, portioning and plating during busy periods.
• Support the kitchen team to ensure smooth service.
