Job Summary

This seasonal, event-based role runs from April to September. Under supervision of the Executive Chef and Sous Chef, Prep Cooks prepare food following standards and regulations.

Responsibilities
  • Obtain daily production schedule and requirements from the Chef.
  • Prepare items on production sheets according to recipes.
  • Complete and follow worksheets and waste logs.
  • Operate and clean equipment after use.
  • Store, label, and date food items properly.
  • Follow HACCP guidelines for food safety and quality.
  • Complete documentation, reports, and logs as required.
  • Comply with health and sanitation regulations.
  • Prepare quick items during events.
  • Serve customers from steam tables and grills.
  • Use approved recipes and standards for quality and portion control.
  • Operate and clean equipment after use.
  • Follow PPE policies.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Willingness to obtain a food handler permit.
  • Culinary experience required.
  • Friendly and outgoing personality.
  • Flexible hours including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
