Responsibilities

• Read recipes and produce products on a timely basis using various kitchen equipment.
• Follow the daily prep sheet.
• Follow build-to-pars and complete production efficiently.
• Store products in hot wells, cold wells, refrigerators, and freezers appropriately.
• Store all food in specific size pans, cover, date, and organize in the walk-in cooler.
• Maintain cleanliness by sanitizing prep area, equipment, walls, and floors regularly.
• Assist in controlling food costs through inventory management.
• Follow safety, sanitation, and back door safety rules.
• Maintain personal hygiene and kitchen cleanliness.
• Use FIFO to ensure proper food rotation.
• Use cleaning chemicals according to Material Safety Data Sheets.
• Promote teamwork at all times.
• Ensure food quality, freshness, and visual appeal.
• Keep kitchen surroundings clean and compliant with health regulations.
• Assist in other kitchen tasks as needed, including cleaning and organizing.
• Perform delegated tasks from management.

Qualifications

• Ability to stand and walk throughout the entire shift.
• Work collaboratively with team members in the Back of the House.
• Ability to reach, bend, stoop, and wipe.
• Lift up to 50 pounds as needed.
• Work well under pressure.
• Ability to lift objects from the floor, reach, and push.
• Basic reading skills required.
