PREP COOK

Our Culinary Team is responsible for completing the prep list. We seek individuals who focus on quality, consistency, and maintaining a clean, efficient workspace to uphold Townhouse - Detroit's culinary standards.

Job Responsibilities:

• Prepare various meats, seafood, poultry, vegetables, and other food items using kitchen equipment according to standardized recipes
• Safely operate all necessary tools and equipment, including knives
• Follow portioning controls and par levels
• Maintain food safety and quality standards
• Read thermometers accurately and efficiently
• Communicate delays or issues to the Line Chef
• Monitor menu item counts and inform management when quantities are low
• Ensure accurate accounting of all items prepared
• Follow food allergy procedures and accommodate special orders
• Follow safety and sanitation guidelines
• Be a team player and get along well with others
• Additional duties as assigned
