Job summary

MISTER O1 in Charlotte, NC is seeking a Prep Cook/Dough Maker to join our kitchen. You will prepare meats, seafood, vegetables, sauces and dough per MO1 standards, operate ovens and grinders, and help ensure cleanliness and food safety.

You will follow SOPs, assist cooks, complete opening and closing checklists, receive and store supplies, and contribute to a consistently extraordinary guest experience.

Qualifications

• Understand and comply with standard portion sizes, cooking methods, quality standards and kitchen SOPs.
• Maintain clean and sanitized workstation and equipment.
• Prepare a variety of foods per MO1 standards, including meats and vegetables.
• Follow approved procedures in ovens and other kitchen equipment.
• Receive and store food supplies properly and assist cooks as needed.

Responsibilities

• Understand and comply with standard portion sizes, cooking methods, quality standards, and kitchen rules.
• Clean and sanitize the workstation area including tables, shelves, walls, oven, and refrigeration equipment.
• Prepare a variety of foods, such as meats, vegetables, according to MO1 Standards.
• Follow approved procedures in ovens, and a variety of other kitchen equipment.
• Receive and store food supplies, equipment, and utensils in refrigerators, cupboards, and other storage areas.
• Assist cooks and kitchen staff with various tasks as needed.
• Complete opening and closing checklists and assist others in opening and closing the kitchen.
• Cut, slice, or grind meat, and poultry to prepare for cooking.

As a Prep Cook/Dough Maker, you represent Mister O1 and you must always comply with Mister O1 Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). This will guarantee consistency with our quality and plate presentation; while following proper cleanliness and hygiene procedures.

A Mister O1 Prep Cook/Dough Maker prepares a variety of food products including meats, seafood, poultry, vegetables, sauces, and other food products using a variety of equipment and utensils according to the Daily Prep List.

PRINCIPLE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (But not limited to):
