Job summary

Smithfield Station is seeking a diligent cook/prep staff member to prepare a wide range of foods, follow the daily prep list, and maintain high hygiene standards. You will work with grills, ovens, fryers, and other kitchen equipment to deliver quality meals in a fast-paced setting.

The role requires strict adherence to recipes, temperature checks, and coordination with cooks and front-of-house staff to ensure guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Follow standard recipes for all products.
• Take and record temperature of food and food storage areas.
• Clean and sanitize workstation, equipment, and surfaces.
• Assist cooks and kitchen staff as needed.

Responsibilities

• Prepare a variety of foods according to customers' orders or supervisors' instructions.
• Refer to Daily Prep List and fill out Prep List at shift start.
• Monitor portion sizes and portion according to recipe specs.
• Coordinate with and assist fellow staff to meet guests’ needs.
