Job summary

Dairyland Power Cooperative is seeking a cafe岗位 assistant for the Riverside Café in La Crosse, WI. The role supports daily food production, menu planning with the Head Chef, and cafe operations to deliver a high-quality guest experience.

Qualifications include related food service/cafe experience, culinary education preference, and WI ServSafe certification within six months of hire. Strong teamwork and adherence to health regulations are essential.

Qualifications

• Related food service, baking or cafe experience preferred.
• Education in a culinary arts field is also preferred.
• Meet and maintain WI ServSafe certification within six months of hire.
• La Crosse County Restaurant certification required/issued.

Responsibilities

• Maintain food stock inventory and plan nutritionally balanced menus with Head Chef.
• Assist with café supply orders and inventory management, stocking spaces and beverage areas.
• Oversee coffee service and maintain coffee equipment.
• Prepare and maintain salad bar, weekly sides and dressings.
• Bake fresh items and develop new pastries and baked goods.
• Create and upload weekly menus and operate the POS system with basic troubleshooting.
• Ensure cleanliness and organization of kitchen and dining areas.
