Job summary

Dairyland Power Cooperative is seeking a Cafe Associate to assist with day-to-day Riverside Café operations in La Crosse, WI. The role emphasizes effective teamwork, food safety, inventory control and guest service.

Responsibilities include menu planning with the Head Chef, ordering supplies, operating the POS system and ensuring cleanliness and safe food handling practices throughout the shift.

Qualifications

• Experience in cafe/food service preferred.
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations.
• Ability to operate in a fast-paced kitchen environment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain inventory with Head Chef; monitor pricing and availability.
• Plan nutritionally balanced menus with Head Chef.
• Place and track cafe supply orders; manage stock and organization.
• Oversee coffee brewing and equipment maintenance.
• Prepare and maintain weekly menus and dressings.
