Job summary

Hampton Chocolate Factory is seeking a Prep Team Member to join our premium dessert kitchen. You will follow recipes and Methods of Preparation precisely, prepare ingredients and components for daily production, and maintain FIFO to ensure freshness.

In this hands-on role, you will help keep prep stations organized, support seasonal rollouts, and assist with documentation while staying aligned with leadership on product needs and quality standards. Weekend availability is preferred.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of experience in food production or culinary environments.
• Proven ability to train and lead teams or peers.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in following recipes.
• Reliable, hardworking and flexible for a high-volume kitchen.

Responsibilities

• Follow recipes and Methods of Preparation (MOPs) with accuracy—no shortcuts or changes without approval.
• Prepare ingredients, batters, bases, and components for daily production.
• Ensure freshness by practicing FIFO (First In, First Out).
• Support seasonal rollouts by preparing and organizing necessary components.
• Assist with maintaining recipe documentation and organized prep stations.
• Keep kitchen areas clean, safe, and well-stocked at all times.
• Communicate clearly with leadership about product needs, shortages, or issues.
• Work efficiently to meet daily prep demands while upholding quality.
• Support occasional FOH assistance to stay connected with guest experience.
