Job summary

Baptist Health is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Pre-Op Care Unit. You will plan, organize and administer patient care in the preoperative phase, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal outcomes.

The role focuses on patient assessment, care planning, and education in alignment with hospital policies and state requirements. The incumbent may be required to provide admission and preoperative care, with duties extending to other pre-op areas as needed and 80 hours

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse with licensure in Arkansas.
• Basic life support certifications (CPR) required.
• ACLS and/or PALS training may be required in some areas.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize and administer patient care within nursing scope.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to ensure quality outcomes.
• Provide admission and preoperative care for surgical patients.
• Assess patients and develop care plans addressing pre-anesthesia needs and family education.
