Baptist Health Arkansas is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Preoperative Care Unit. The role focuses on planning, organizing, and delivering preoperative nursing care, including admission, assessment, and education to surgical patients.

The RN will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure readiness for anesthesia while following hospital policies and state Nursing Practice Act requirements. Full-time, 5:30 am–2:00 pm with occasional holidays/weekends.

Qualifications

• Active RN license to practice in Arkansas.
• CPR certification required; ACLS/PALS/NALS training a plus.
• BSN preferred; hospital-based perioperative experience valued.

Responsabilités

• Plan, organize and administer care within the preoperative scope.
• Admit patients and provide preoperative care and education.
• Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure readiness for anesthesia.
• Support interdisciplinary care and adherence to unit policies.
