Job summary

Qualifications

• New RN graduate or RN with unencumbered license in good standing to practice in Arkansas.
• CPR required; ACLS/PALS/NALS training provided in some areas.
• Specialty units require specialty education.
• Applies basic knowledge and skills to meet standard of care.
• Is able to practice as a full partner of an interdisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Assist surgeons and other healthcare professionals during surgical procedures.
• Maintain clean and sterile environment outside the operating room's sterile field.
• Administer medications and manage surgical counts.
• Prep for operations/procedures and document surgeries.
• Monitor perioperative staff, instruments, and equipment; deliver surgical specimens.
