Responsibilities

• The Staff RN provides care for a designated patient group and ensures safe, efficient delivery of care.
• The RN OPHA interviews patients, collects preop history, orders, and pertinent information for the surgical procedure.
• Collaborates with admitting, case management, and health care team; educates patients on procedures and self-care needs.
