Sante Health Partners in California is seeking a dedicated Pre/Post Operative Nurse to join our surgical team. You will provide high-quality nursing care before and after surgery, ensure patient safety, and educate patients and families throughout the perioperative process.

Ideal candidates have a California RN license, at least 1 year of operating room or related clinical experience, and CPR certification.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred.
• Minimum of 1 year of operating room or relevant clinical experience.
• Valid California RN license.
• Current CPR certification and any advanced certifications.
• Fully vaccinated against COVID-19 (including booster).

Responsabilités

• Admission and pre-operative care with education and psychosocial support.
• Coordinate pre-operative lab work and report results.
• Post-operative care and discharge planning for home environment.
• Conduct continuous patient assessments and report findings to team.
• Document actions accurately in the medical record in a timely manner.
• Maintain patient safety as a top priority and respond to emergencies.
• Perform discharge education when assigned.
• Demonstrate nursing knowledge and rationale, including cardiac monitoring.
• Supervise non-professional personnel as directed.
• Manage supplies and equipment, including stocking and preparation.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors.
