Job summary

Physicians Surgery Center of Chattanooga, part of United Surgical Partners International, Inc, seeks a FT PreOp RN to assess patients preoperatively and coordinate care with the surgical team.

Responsibilities include patient education, vitals monitoring, medical history review, and documentation, ensuring a safe and efficient perioperative experience in a multispecialty ambulatory setting.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited RN program.
• Active RN license in the state.
• BLS and ACLS required; PALS if required by center.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients before surgery and ensure they are prepared.
• Educate patients and families about the surgical process and answer questions.
• Monitor vitals, review medical histories, and collaborate with the team.
• Maintain accurate documentation and uphold patient care standards.
