Job summary

Qualifications

• Accredited nursing program required.
• CA RN license (BRN) required.
• BLS within 30 days of hire or transfer.
• PALS within 12 months of hire or transfer.
• Experience aligned with Clinical Advancement Program is valued.

Responsibilities

• Perform preoperative evaluations and readiness assessments.
• Coordinate required testing and clearances.
• Complete medication review and provide patient/family education.
• Maintain competencies to support Day Surgery RN staffing.
• May provide direct patient care in Day Surgery as needed.
