Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current CA Nursing License.
• Current BLS, ACLS and PALS.
• Minimum of 2 years experience in Pre-Op/PACU; ambulatory surgical setting preferred.
• Strong knowledge of surgical procedures and perioperative care.
• Ability to adapt to changing patient conditions.
• Excellent teaching, communication, and organizational skills.
• Teamwork and patient-family centered care.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality patient care using the nursing process and plan of care.
• Deliver safe, effective perioperative, patient-family centered care in the perioperative services.
• Support Peri-Operative Services mission and values.
• Report to the Manager of Peri-Operative Services.
