• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia, and physicians to ensure medical optimization and chart clearance.
• Verify consents, medical records, and medication reconciliation in the EHR prior to procedure date.
• Provide comprehensive nursing care pre- and post-operatively as needed.
• Administer medications and treatments ordered by the physician.
• Discharge pre-operative patients according to facility policies.
