Job summary

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Patient Assessment: Conduct pre-operative interviews to collect medical histories and medication lists.
• Pre-Op Education: Explain protocols and expected care before surgery.
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and physicians to ensure medical optimization.
• Verify consents and ensure required documentation is in the chart.
• Provide total nursing care for pre-operative and post-operative patients.
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered by the physician.
• Discharge pre-operative patients per facility policies.
