Job summary

Surgery Partners, Inc. is seeking a Pre-Operative Registered Nurse to support patient care in an ambulatory surgery setting in Franklin, TN.

You will work under supervision of Clinical Services and follow physician orders and center policies. Responsibilities include pre-operative assessment, medication administration, chart reviews, and coordination with anesthesia and surgical teams while maintaining patient privacy and safety.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
• Current Registered Nurse License
• Current American Heart Assn. BLS and ACLS certifications
• Ability to assess, develop and implement total nursing care

Responsibilities

• Assesses, develops and implements total nursing care for the pre-operative patient
• Records and reports symptoms, reactions and changes in patients' condition
• Administers medications and treatments ordered by the physician
• Cares and discharges pre-operative patients per facility policies
• Reviews pre-operative charts for accuracy and completeness
• Coordinates with anesthesia and surgeon teams prior to surgery
