Job summary

Atlas Healthcare Partners is seeking a registered nurse to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care across the patient care continuum in a fast-paced clinical setting. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and ensure high-quality outcomes aligned with professional standards.

The role requires an RN license, BLS/ACLS, and experience in PreOp/PACU or enrollment in Perianesthesia Academy with timely completion.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree or Diploma in Nursing, or higher, required.
• Must possess a current, valid RN license in state of practice, temporary RN license in state of practice, or compact RN licensure for current state of practice.
• BLS and ACLS required.
• PALS certification required within 90 days of start date if assigned ASC services pediatrics.
• Core (FT/PT): Minimum one-year licensed RN experience in PreOp/PACU (i.e. ICU, ED)
• Licensed RN with no experience in PreOp/PACU and enrolled in Perianesthesia Academy with successful completion within 4 months.
• New licensed RN enrolled in the Perianesthesia Academy with successful completion within 4 months.
• PRN: Minimum two years licensed RN experience in PreOp/PACU

Responsibilities

• Assesses patient physical, psychological, social, spiritual, educational, developmental, cultural and post-operative planning needs.
• Reviews patient history and physical with patient/family and assures completion within appropriate timeframe.
• Forms plans of care and discharge planning in collaboration with patient/family and health team.
• Implements the plan of care through direct patient care, coordination and supervision of the health care team.
• Evaluates patient progress towards goals and outcomes with the team.
• Documents assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation in the patient record.
• Participates in education, role development and mentoring of facility personnel.
• Contributes to national nursing quality indicators and outcomes. May participate in professional organizations.
• May provide relief charge for staff in some locations.
• Adheres to policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements; delivers excellent service to customers.
