Job summary

Villages Endoscopy Center is hiring a Pre OP PACU RN PRN to provide high-quality nursing care for patients undergoing endoscopic procedures. The role includes monitoring patients emerging from anesthesia, assisting physicians with sedation and sterile technique, and ensuring safe discharge planning.

Qualified RNs with state license, ACLS/BLS, and PACU or critical care experience are preferred. This PRN position offers a flexible schedule and benefits through the center.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited RN program.
• Active RN license in the state.
• BLS and ACLS required; PALS if required by the center.
• 2 years PACU or Critical Care preferred.
• Ability to make decisions based on nursing judgment.
• Able to prioritize and organize workload to meet patient needs.
• Strong communication skills, verbal and written.

Responsibilities

• Provide continuity and quality nursing care for all patients with ongoing assessment.
• Maintain patient safety, comfort and privacy throughout the care episode.
• Assist physicians in procedure rooms with conscious sedation and sterile technique.
• Deliver post-anesthesia care and prepare patients and families for discharge.
