Job summary

Villages Endoscopy Center is seeking a Pre Op PACU RN for PRN coverage to support our ambulatory endoscopy services. The RN will provide continuous nursing care before and after procedures, ensuring patient safety and comfort during recovery and discharge preparation.

The role requires PACU/CCU experience, active RN licensure in the state, and BLS/ACLS; PALS if required by the center. Strong communication and clinical decision-making are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in the state
• BLS and ACLS required, PALS if required by the center
• 2 years of PACU/CCU experience preferred
• Strong nursing judgment and decision-making
• Able to prioritize and organize workload to meet patient needs
• Strong verbal and written communication skills

Responsibilities

• Provide continuity and quality nursing care for all patients
• Assist physicians in procedure rooms with conscious sedation and sterile techniques
• Care for patients emerging from anesthesia/sedation; assess, plan, implement and evaluate for discharge readiness
