Integrated Surgical Center of Arizona, operated by Regent Surgical Health, seeks an RN for PreOp/PACU care. You will assess patients before surgery, monitor during the perioperative period, and ensure safety from admission to discharge.

This is a part-time position with Monday–Friday hours; no calls, weekends, or holidays. Arizona RN licensure and nursing education required; three years’ experience preferred.

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• RN license in appropriate State.
• Minimum 3 years of nursing experience.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Nursing preferred.

Aufgaben

• Assess patients' physical and mental health prior to surgery and prepare them for the procedure.
• Explain the surgical procedure and expectations to patients and families.
• Prepare surgical site, verify informed consent, and follow safety protocols.
• Conduct venipuncture and blood draws as needed.
• Coordinate care with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and the perioperative team.
• Monitor vital signs and recovery status after anesthesia.
• Administer pain medications and manage pain control.
• Identify and respond to post-operative complications.
• Document nursing care accurately for the care team.
