Job summary

Arizona Spine and Joint Hospital is seeking a Full Time Registered Nurse for our PreOP/PACU team. The RN will provide professional perianesthesia care across ages and use the nursing process to direct care, with supervision of PAT/PACU staff.

Qualifications include AZ RN licensure, current BLS, eligibility to work in the U.S., and ability to obtain ACLS/PALS within 60 days. Competitive pay and benefits are offered; on-site schedule Monday–Friday with 4 ten-hour shifts.

Qualifications

• Eligible to work in the United States.
• Arizona RN license required.
• Current BLS certification.
• ACLS & PALS certification within 60 days of employment.
• Ability to relate and work effectively with others.
• Strong English verbal and written communication for safe patient care and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Directs and/or provides professional perianesthesia nursing care for an assigned group of patients across the age continuum.
• Uses the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation) to direct or provide nursing care.
• Provides supervision and guidance to PAT/PACU/Pre-operative and Pain Management staff.
• May make department decisions in the absence of the PreOp/PACU/PAT Director.
