Job summary

Surgery Partners' Methodist Mansfield ASC seeks an experienced RN to provide pre-operative and PACU care during midshift (12:00-21:00) with potential Saturday shifts. You will perform assessments, administer medications, and ensure safe patient recovery under physician orders.

Ideal candidates hold an accredited nursing degree, active RN license, BLS and ACLS certification, and a proven ability to work in a fast-paced ambulatory surgery setting.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Active RN license and current BLS/ACLS.
• Experience in a same-day surgery setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assists in provision of nursing care in a same-day surgery setting.
• Maintains patient care in accordance with physician orders and center policies.
• Monitors supplies use and handles charging for materials.
• Provides psychosocial support to patients and/or families.
