Job summary

SurgCenter Pima Crossing by USPI is seeking a RN for PREOP/PACU roles. The PACU RN will ensure continuous, safe patient care, monitor recovery from anesthesia, and collaborate with physicians. The role requires nursing licensure, BLS/ACLS, and PACU experience where possible.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited RN School of Nursing.
• Active RN license in the state.
• BLS and ACLS Required, PALS if required by the center.
• 2 years experience in PACU or Critical Care preferred.
• Ability to make decisions based on nursing judgment.
• Able to prioritize and organize workload to meet patient needs.
• Strong communication skills, verbal and written.

Responsibilities

• Provide continuity and quality nursing care for all patients.
• Ensure patient safety, comfort, and privacy at all times.
• Assist physicians in procedure rooms with tasks, sedation, and sterile techniques as deemed appropriate.
• Provide care to patients emerging from anesthesia or sedation; assess, plan, implement and evaluate for discharge.
