Job summary

United Surgical Partners International Inc (USPI) is seeking a PreOp/PACU Registered Nurse to deliver high-quality nursing care for patients undergoing ambulatory endoscopy procedures. The role supports safe sedation, continuous assessment, and smooth recovery following anesthesia, in a fast-paced outpatient setting.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited RN School of Nursing.
• Active RN license in the state of Texas.
• BLS and ACLS required (PALS if required by the center).
• 2 years of experience in PACU or Critical Care preferred.
• Ability to make sound decisions based on nursing judgment.

Responsibilities

• Provide continuity and quality nursing care for all patients.
• Assist physicians in procedure rooms with tasks such as conscious sedation using sterile techniques.
• Deliver comprehensive patient care as they recover from general anesthesia and/or sedation.
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for patients and families in preparation for discharge.
