Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited RN School of Nursing.
• Active RN license in the state.
• BLS and ACLS required; PALS if required by the center.
• 2 years of experience in PACU or Critical Care preferred.
• Strong nursing judgment and communication skills.
• Ability to prioritize workload and organize care.

Responsibilities

• Preoperative duties: conduct preoperative assessments, educate patients and families, administer medications, and ensure infection control.
• Postoperative duties: monitor PACU patients, manage pain, document care, and discharge planning.
• Additional duties: circulating and/or scrub responsibilities as needed to support procedures.
