North Shore Surgical Suites is seeking a PreOp/PACU RN to deliver comprehensive perioperative nursing care from preoperative assessment through PACU recovery. You will support anesthesia emergence, assist physicians in procedure rooms, and ensure patient safety, comfort, and privacy while following organizational policies.
The role requires an accredited RN degree, active RN license in the state, and BLS/ACLS/PALS certifications, with at least 2 years in PreOp PACU, Med/Surg, or Critical Care.

The Pre Op PACU Registered Nurse provides continuity and quality nursing care for all patients, with continual evaluation of the patient's condition, providing patient safety, comfort, and privacy at all times. May assist the physicians in the procedure rooms with various tasks, conscious sedation, and utilizing sterile techniques as deemed appropriate. Will provide total comprehensive patient care to patients emerging from general anesthesia and/or sedation; assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of the patient and family in preparation for discharge. The Pre Op PACU RN Registered Nurse provides quality patient care using the nursing process, the medical plan of care, and organizational policies. The Pre Op PACU RN provides safe, effective, and quality patient-family centered care in the perioperative services for all patient populations. The Pre Op PACU RN supports the mission, vision, and values of the organization. The Pre Op PACU RN reports to the Manager of Peri-Operative Services.
