United Surgical Partners International is seeking a Registered Nurse for the PreOp/PACU role at Crown Point Surgical Suites. You will deliver continuous nursing care, monitor patient status, and ensure safety before, during, and after procedures.

The position requires PACU/acute care experience, RN licensure in the state, and BLS/ACLS certification, with a focus on patient comfort and privacy.

Qualifications

• RN must be a graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Active RN license in the state where practice is located.
• BLS and ACLS certification required for patient safety.

Responsibilities

• Provide continuous, quality nursing care from admission to discharge.
• Assist physicians in procedure rooms with tasks including conscious sedation and sterile technique.
• Care for patients emerging from anesthesia and coordinate assessment, planning, and discharge preparation.

Pre Op PACU Registered Nurse

The Pre Op PACU Registered Nurse provides continuity and quality nursing care for all patients, with continual evaluation of the patient's condition, providing patient safety, comfort, and privacy at all times. May assist the physicians in the procedure rooms with various tasks, including conscious sedation, and utilizing sterile techniques as deemed appropriate. Will provide total comprehensive patient care to patients emerging from general anesthesia and/or sedation; assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of the patient and family in preparation for discharge

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited RN School of Nursing
• Active RN license in the state
• BLS and ACLS Required
• 1 year minimum of experience in PACU/acute care/ICU preferred
• Cardiac monitored nursing care preferred
• Ability to make decisions based on nursing judgment
• Able to prioritize and organize workload to meet the needs of patients and the unit
• Strong communication skills, verbal and written
