Job summary

Crown Point Surgical Suites is seeking a PreOp/PACU RN to provide continuous, high-quality nursing care for patients emerging from anesthesia, ensuring safety and comfort throughout recovery. This role supports a patient-centered environment in a facility focused on Orthopedic & Podiatry services.

Required qualifications include graduation from an accredited RN program, active RN license in NC, BLS and ACLS, and 1 year PACU/acute care experience.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited RN program.
• Active RN license in the state.
• BLS and ACLS required.
• 1 year minimum of experience in PACU/acute care/ICU preferred.
• Cardiac monitored nursing care preferred.
• Ability to make decisions based on nursing judgment.
• Able to prioritize and organize workload to meet patient needs.
• Strong communication skills, verbal and written.

Responsibilities

• Provide total comprehensive patient care to patients emerging from anesthesia and/or sedation.
• Assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of the patient and family in preparation for discharge.
• May assist physicians in the procedure rooms with conscious sedation and sterile techniques as appropriate.

Pre Op PACU Registered Nurse

The Pre Op PACU Registered Nurse provides continuity and quality nursing care for all patients, with continual evaluation of the patient's condition, providing patient safety, comfort, and privacy at all times. May assist the physicians in the procedure rooms with various tasks, including conscious sedation, and utilizing sterile techniques as deemed appropriate. Will provide total comprehensive patient care to patients emerging from general anesthesia and/or sedation; assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of the patient and family in preparation for discharge

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited RN School of Nursing

• Active RN license in the state

• BLS and ACLS Required

• 1 year minimum of experience in PACU/acute care/ICU preferred
