Job summary

Johns Hopkins Medicine seeks an OR RN at the White Marsh Surgery Center to support patients undergoing gender-affirming and various surgical procedures. The role involves care for patients across gender-affirming, facial, breast, abdominal, colorectal, GI, ophthalmology, orthopedic and plastic surgery, along with pain management procedures.

Minimum 6 months RN experience plus Preop PACU exposure is required. BSN preferred; associate degree allowed with progression to BSN per nursing guidelines.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 6 months recent RN experience required; Preop PACU experience required.
• BSN from Accredited Nursing Program preferred, but applicants with an associate degree in nursing will be considered. Per nursing guidelines, must matriculate into a BSN program.

Responsibilities

• The OR RN's care for patients undergoing gender affirming care, facial reconstruction, breast surgery, abdominal surgery.
• Colorectal, Gastroenterology, Ophthalmology, orthopedic and plastic surgery in addition to pain management procedures.
