Job Summary and Qualifications

We are seeking a PreOp PACU Nurse to provide safe, effective postoperative care until patient dismissal. Join our team and contribute to our mission and vision.

Responsibilities include:

• Preparing patient care areas and ensuring equipment and supplies are available.
• Demonstrating airway management techniques.
• Monitoring vital signs and patient status per policy.
• Inserting, maintaining, and removing IVs.
• Performing head-to-toe evaluations using approved scoring systems.
• Checking dressings and operative sites, reporting abnormalities.
• Providing a safe, comforting environment for patients and families.

Qualifications:

• Associate Degree in Nursing or higher, RN diploma required.
• At least 1 year of clinical nursing experience, preferably in Preop, PACU, Pain, GI, ER, ICU, or Surgery.
• Active RN license as per state requirements.
• ACLS certification required within 30 days of hire.
• PALS certification if required by the facility, within 30 days of hire.
