USPI Colorado Urologic Surgery Center - St. Anthony's is seeking a motivated PreOP PACU Registered Nurse to join our team. Colorado Urologic Surgery Center is a fast-paced ASC environment committed to providing the highest quality care for patients and their families.

Job Summary

Assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates care for patients of all ages in the procedure room. Provides care within nursing standards and center policies. Makes decisions regarding patient care needs and communicates effectively with physicians, patients, families, and team members. May have additional responsibilities as designated by the Nurse Manager or Director of Nursing, including serving on committees and participating in quality improvement projects.

Experience in supporting urology is required.

Required Skills

• Must be a Registered Nurse with an unrestricted license in the state.
• Graduate of an accredited nursing school.
• At least 1-3 years of experience in PreOP / PACU.
• Previous experience in an ambulatory surgical center is strongly preferred.
• Current BLS, ALS, and PALS certifications.
• Strong knowledge of surgical procedures and management of surgical patients.
• Understanding of aseptic techniques.
• Ability to adapt quickly to changing patient conditions.
• Excellent team player with strong communication skills with staff, patients, and physicians.
