Qualifications

SurgCenter Pima Crossing is hiring a PREOP/PACU RN

Welcome to SurgCenter Pima Crossing

Position: PACU Registered Nurse (PACU RN)

The PACU Registered Nurse provides continuous, high-quality nursing care for all patients, including ongoing evaluation of patient conditions, ensuring safety, comfort, and privacy at all times. The role may involve assisting physicians in procedure rooms with various tasks, including conscious sedation and sterile techniques. The nurse will deliver comprehensive care to patients recovering from general anesthesia or sedation, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient and family needs before discharge.

Qualifications
  • Graduate of an accredited RN School of Nursing
  • Active RN license in the state
  • BLS and ACLS certification required; PALS certification if required by the center
  • Preferably 2 years of experience in PACU or Critical Care
  • Ability to make decisions based on nursing judgment
  • Ability to prioritize and organize workload to meet patient and unit needs
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
