Physician Partners of America is seeking a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN/LPN) for Pre-Op/PACU at our ambulatory surgery center in Merritt Island, FL. The role provides direct and indirect patient care under RN/MD supervision, ensuring safety and compliance with AAAHC and state standards.

Responsibilities include IV administration, vital signs, patient positioning, document care, and coordination with the RN/MD team.

Qualifications

• Must hold active LVN/LPN license in Florida and be certified to start IVs.
• IV Certification required; good IV skills desirable.
• Current BLS Certification and ACLS preferred.
• Experience as LVN/LPN in acute hospital/ASC is desirable.
• Professional demeanor and excellent interpersonal skills.
• Ability to stay calm and exercise good judgment in crisis.
• Must communicate effectively in English and with the care team.

Responsabilités

• Provide direct and indirect patient care in Pre-Op and PACU under supervision.
• Administer IVs, monitor vitals, and document care.
• Interpret physician orders and implement treatments per standards and policies.
• Communicate with surgeons, anesthesia, and care team about patient status.
• Maintain readiness of supplies and equipment for patient care.
• Attend staff meetings and participate in ongoing education.
• Ensure compliance with AAAHC and state/federal standards.
